Cardinal Resources Limited ("Cardinal" or "the Company") is a focused gold explorer with operations located in the upper north-east city of Bolgatanga, Ghana, West Africa and the corporate office located in Perth, Western Australia.
Cardinal is the beneficial owner of two gold exploration projects in Bolgatanga and Subranum, Ghana, West Africa. In addition, Cardinal has secured an option to acquire a 60% interest in 2 exploitation licences located within the Kilo-Moto greenstone belt in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Board of Directors comprises Chairman, Klaus Eckhof, Managing Director, Archie Koimtsidis, Executive Directors Malik Easah and Marcus Michael.
The Bolgatanga Project is located in a Paleoproterozoic granite-greenstone belt in northeast Ghana. The Subranum Project is situated in the south western portion of the country, also within a Paleoproterozoic granite-greenstone belt.
On 30 April 2012 Cardinal executed an Option Agreement with CONNECTIONS SPRL, a company domiciled in the DRC, to acquire certain exploitation rights in the DRC ("Option Agreement").
